You are here :: The climate problem
What is the problem? Minimize

Global warming, rising sea levels, drought, flooding; the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere is rising, causing the Earth’s temperature to follow suit. This in turn leads to climate change. The abbreviation CO2 stands for carbon dioxide, which is a greenhouse gas. However, carbon dioxide (CO2) is neither toxic nor harmful to air quality.

The diagram above shows the four stages of the process that causes global warming. The thicker the layer of greenhouse gases becomes, the more heat it reflects back towards the Earth’s surface, thus causing global warming.

Who is responsible? Minimize

As the graph below shows, various sectors of trade and industry produce significant emissions of CO2. The road transport sector has become responsible for an increasing percentage of all emissions during the past thirty years.

This is the reason why Van den Bosch Transporten recognises its social responsibility to contribute towards the reduction of its CO2 emissions.
